A Word from the our FASA President

If you've found this web site, you must be one of us -- interested in art, devoted to cloth, involved in an artistic community and open to adventure. Or maybe it was just an accident!
As fiber artists, we are involved in creating and appreciating art work that includes cloth, thread, natural paper fibers, wire and woven goods. We work as quilters, dyers, surface designers, felters, weavers, basket makers and seamstresses. Our interests range from embroidery to high tech printing, from pragmatic to the adventurous, from art to wear to art on the wall. We invite you to see more of our art work and activities by surfing through the site. And if you are in San Antonio or the Texas Hill Country, we invite you to join our membership for both in-person meetings, participation in our annual exhibition and art-to-wear fashion show and other events. Dallas and our own FASA.
