Completed garments will be delivered on SUNDAY, April 22, 2012,

Special Note to our Artists:
The show will be handled differently than traditional Runway Shows. Our goal is to
simplify procedures and to cut expenses for FASA.
1. Artist will provide a hanger for each garment entered. Any type of hanger is
suitable - even plastic Walmart hangers. Be advised that if the garment sells, the
hanger will go with the garment.
2. Artist will provide a 3 x 5 card for each garment entered. The following
information will be included on 3 x 5 card: Artist name, name of garment, materials,
techniques, & any other relevant data that you think might be of interest.
3. FASA will provide a hang tag, (i.e. piece of hole-punched card stock with
string or thread for hanging.) The tag will state artist name, size of garment, name of
garment and price. The tag will remain on your garment throughout the luncheon &
during the after show sale. This tag will identify your garment to prospective clients.
Please also include your name inside the garment in case garment and
3x5 card get separated.
Note: If your basic garment is readymade, it must be enhanced to create a
new design of art to wear with techniques noted.
4. Models provided by FASA will wear black undergarments. If your garment is a
dress we will work with both the model and the artist to display the garment
appropriately.
5. Artist may submit a total of ten garments for consideration. A collaboration counts as one entry.
Those garments not chosen for the runway will still be available to be sold.
6. When determining the sale price, please note that FASA receives 25% commission.
7. Entries will be juried by Melinda Adams, Associate Professor at UIW . The
runway committee will make every effort to show the creativity of our
members.
8. Challenge garments may only be submitted by FASA members and will NOT be
juried. The Challenge garments must meet criteria established by the committee.
