The Fiber Artists of San Antonio invite you to join FASA and share with us your own special fiber art. There is always new work to be seen and we are excited about the possibility of seeing yours!

 FASA membership runs from June 1 through May 31 with dues currently set at $30.00 per year. Students can join at the rate of $10 a year; proof of student status is required.

New members joining after Jan. 1 have a membership of $15.00, and then renew their membership June 1 for another full year.

Now you can complete your enrollment and payment on-line. We give the options to either print out your enrollment form and send it in with a check, or fill out the form on-line and pay via a credit card or through an e-check. (Your enrollment form is electronically submitted.) You can start filling out your enrollment here. Once the form is complete, we give you the option to pay on-line or print out the form.

 FASA monthly meetings are held on the second Monday of the month.

Meetings give our members the opportunity to visit with other members, our guest speaker as well as share items of interest with others in the group.

Meetings include a brief business meeting allowing committee chairs to present updates to the membership followed by a special topic presentation. Program topics vary widely to reach the numerous interests of our membership.

• At Christmas we generally have an "Fiber Art" gift exchange; all gifts are simple hand made items exchanged in a round robin style.
• Our annual fiber challenge is usually held during the May meeting. This year's challenge involved using 75% post-consumer waste, with a recognizable amount of fiber to create a new Fiber Art work.
• At the May meeting we elect new Board officers.
